Ahem! (clears throat)

Hi! My name is Ryan and welcome to my new space - Ry’s Meta.

This is the About Page, but since there’s a whole post about what this ‘space’ is all about, I’m going to use this page to introduce myself:

I go by Ry.

I love the outdoors, I like to walk slowly and run really fast (I've run a marathon btw 😎)

I read a lot and listen to all kinds of music—jazz, hip-hop, country, alternative, pop—all of it (except reggaeton; I’m yet to pick that up).

I have amazing friends and family scattered all over the world, all alive and well, pursuing their life’s callings while being the coolest beans I know (I’ve been meaning to say that... coolest beans has a nice ring to it).

I’m 21, turning 22 in July. I was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya, and now I live in London, UK.

I study Materials Science and Engineering at Imperial College London, and I’m excited about combining my creativity, love for machine learning, and new skills in materials science to help create solutions our world desperately needs through the invention of new materials.

I'm a big lover of memes and all things meme-related, so expect some to pop up periodically in posts. Feel free to message or email me your favourites.
